Power Within

This is the third piece in my concentration for my AP art class. My art teacher was really upset when she saw the background (before I added the blue aura) because I tend to do the backgrounds last... -bad Holly!- But I had something like this planned all along. c: I think it looks nice. She also said about my last piece ([link]) that I needed to find a way to "grow" this year, but I really believed that that last piece was a LOT of growth because it was realistic, with watercolours, and the background was the most complex I've ever done! I know this piece won't be considered "growth" because it's manga... but OH WELL! I love it!

I'd rather not have a critique on this because this was just really good practice with watercolours. I know there are LOTS of mistakes, but I'll do my best not to make those same mistakes next time! ^_^ (by the way, this paper is HUUUGE)
