Crystallize

This is my 5th or 6th piece for my concentration in art class. I'm pretty far behind because I was sick all of last week (and I'm still sick...). But I'm going to take advantage of hopefully being healthy over vacation.

I'm very fond of this piece. Yeah, it's manga style, but I love it... The crystal has a lot more dimensions in real life than in this picture. I took the picture under a skylight, so there are some reflections in the paint since the paint is thick, glossy, and still wet in some places.

The background was so much fun. :3 I DID THE BACKGROUND FIRST THIS TIME
